Simon Wheeldon
CEO

Simon is the Chief Executive Office and co-founder of CloudApps.
Prior to founding CloudApps, Simon spent 4 years at Salesforce.com leading the adoption of the pioneering Force.com platform across EMEA. Under Simon’s guidance the Force.com platform in Europe grew to be a multi-million dollar business.
With over 20 years experience in the software industry, Simon was responsible for the widespread sales and adoption of the Force.com platform, allowing Salesforce.com’s more than 67,000 customers and 1.5 million subscribers to build their very own Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications.
Prior to joining Salesforce.com Simon was responsible for the financial services business at Siebel Systems in the UK. Previously, he has held senior positions at BusinessObjects and Accenture.
Simon has a BSc in Computer Science from Bristol University. He is married with two children and lives in Oxfordshire, UK.
Sam Bose
Chief Carbon Officer

Sam is a seasoned entrepreneur with experience in the energy, carbon markets and technology industry with international experience across Deloitte, Motorola and GE Capital
Prior to joining CloudApps, Sam was the founder of one of the first carbon management software companies, which he led from start up through two investment rounds, securing early customers and closing OEM partnerships.
Sam developed his investment, strategy development and execution expertise at Deloitte where he was involved in launching emerging technology based solutions that secured multi-year engagements with market leading companies such as Vodafone, Avis and GE. His entrepreneurial journey began in the hospitality management industry where he was part of the founding team at the fastest growing hospitality chain in India with operations across Africa and the Middle East.
His contribution to carbon management started in 2008, when he was invited to present at the Voluntary Carbon Markets conference in NYC and this year shared a platform with Oracle and IBM to provide his perspective on Green IT at the NCC Sustainable IT conference in London.
Sam has an MBA from Strathclyde Graduate School in Glasgow where he was a British Council scholar. He has a young family that keeps him occupied and lives in London, UK.
Anthony Day
Chief Technology Officer
Anthony is Chief Technology Officer
and co-founder of
CloudApps. Anthony is responsible for Product Strategy and Development
and brings over 20 years of experience to this role.
Prior to founding CloudApps, Anthony performed various roles at
Oracle spanning Sales Consulting, Product Management and Product
Strategy. This covered various products and technology areas from
Database to Integration middleware and through to Master Data
Management (MDM) applications. Most recently, Anthony was responsible
for Oracle’s MDM Product Strategy in Europe, the Middle East and
Africa, a product line that became recognised as an industry leading
solution.
Anthony also spent time with Siebel Systems helping to grow the organisation from a start-up to the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) industry leader over a 9-year period. During his time at Siebel Anthony managed the UK Sales Consultants, built an EMEA based Product & Technologies team and ran EMEA Product Management for Siebel’s Customer Data Integration (CDI) and Integration middleware product lines.
Anthony is married with one child and lives in Oxfordshire, UK.
Simon Corley
Chief Operating Officer
Simon is Chief Operating Officer and
co-founder of CloudApps. Simon is responsible for Finance,
Administration and Operations and brings over 18 years of relevant
experience to this role gained whilst working at Salesforce, Siebel
Systems and Informix.
Prior to founding CloudApps, Simon spent over 6 years at salesforce.com, joining in 2003 before its IPO. Simon has been a member of the European Management team since hire and initially was responsible for the company’s Finance and Administration for EMEA.
In 2007 Simon was promoted to Vice President, Operations for EMEA, and in 2009 to Vice President of Strategy for International Sales. Simon’s focus was to optimise sales performance through targeted go-to-market strategies, coverage models, and evaluation of sales execution.
Prior to joining Salesforce, Simon spent 6 years at Siebel and 5 years at Informix within the European Finance functions, providing infrastructure support to enable explosive growth in their sales teams.
Simon is a Chartered Accountant who gained his professional qualification with Deloitte and Touche in London in 1990. He has a BSc in Geography from King’s College, London University. Simon is married with 2 children and lives in Hampshire, UK
Tim Knight
Chief Marketing Officer
Tim is Chief Marketing Officer and co-founder of
CloudApps. Tim brings over 19 years of relevant experience to this role
gained whilst working at Salesforce.com, Siebel Systems and Oracle
Corporation.
Prior to founding CloudApps, Tim spent over 5 years at
Salesforce.com. Joining prior to its IPO in 2004 as Senior Director,
Product Marketing EMEA he was responsible for the company’s European
product strategy and communications.
Prior to joining Salesforce.com, Tim was a venture partner for a leading European venture capitalist, where he also ran the global sales consulting operation of a start-up focused on the corporate banking sector.
Prior to this, Tim spent 6 years as a director within Siebel’s EMEA
sales
and technology organisations as well as 5 years in senior positions
with Oracle Corporation.
Tim has a BSc in Maths & Computer Science from Essex University,
is married with 2 children and lives in Hampshire, UK.
Gareth Davies
Principal Architect
Gareth
is Principal Architect and a founding member of CloudApps. Gareth is
responsible for the CloudApps Carbon product development, bringing with
him a wealth of cloud platform knowledge to the role.
Prior to joining CloudApps, Gareth was Chief Technical Architect at
Astadia where he was responsible for helping clients to achieve success
with the Force.com platform. During his tenure at Astadia he led
numerous complex and highly successful cloud computing projects.
Before joining Astadia, Gareth spent 7 years at Celerant where he was
responsible for architecting the company’s enterprise. Gareth pioneered
the early adoption of SaaS based technologies and led a team to create
an integrated set of business applications based on these early cloud
computing platforms.
Prior to Celerant, Gareth spent several years developing his technical
skills, using web and database technologies to create sophisticated
business applications in a variety of roles.
Gareth has a bachelors degree in Physics from the University of Sussex
and a masters degree in Microwave Solid State Physics from the
University of Portsmouth. He lives with his fiancée in Richmond,
UK.
